The 14th to 16th November 2025 saw the incredible Race for a Reason event in support of Alfie’s Squad – a charity providing vital support to young people and families affected by parental suicide.
Moira O’Shaughnessy and Bernice Blundell took part on behalf of FPC and, over the course of three demanding days, travelled more than 650 miles as they raced around the country raising awareness of both the charity and the vital work it delivers.
Thanks to the generosity of our clients, partners and the wider FPC community, Team FPC raised over £11,000. Combined with contributions from all the teams and supporters across the UK, the overall event total exceeded £55,000 – an outstanding achievement that will make a meaningful difference to families who need help and hope.
Each “Squad” costs around £18,000 per year to run, and demand for support continues to grow nationwide. The funds raised this year will directly enable more children and young people to access specialist support at the hardest time in their lives.
To everyone who donated, encouraged, or shared the message – thank you. Your generosity and community spirit have made a real and lasting impact.
