In our Christmas presentation, our Managing Partner, Moira O’Shaughnessy, reflects on the challenges and highlights of 2022.
The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has triggered turmoil in the financial markets, resulting in difficult investment conditions but, as always, we advise our clients to take a long term view where possible and ride the storm.
On a lighter note, we have won some awards in our 40th year, the latest being the Merseyside Independent Business (MIB) Awards where we won the Professional Services Business of the Year Award, and earlier in the year we attended a reception in parliament, where we were named Constituency Responsible Business Champion as a result of our commitment to responsible business practices.
Moira also provides an update on our latest community support initiative with The Venus Centre in Bootle, which will hopefully deliver some festive cheer. This year we have helped the organisation with their toy appeal by donating some toys for vulnerable families in the Bootle area to help to make a difference to their Christmas. Next year we look forward to working with the Venus team to help them to address debt and money management issues within their community.
Our office will close from 5.00pm on Thursday 22nd December 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. In the meantime, we wish all of our clients and partners a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2023.
