Earlier this month, 12 members of our team attended the NextGen Planners Elements 2024 conference at the iconic Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse in Liverpool. A celebration of the financial planning profession, Elements 2024 brings together top talent in financial planning to help foster a strong and close community of professionals.

At FPC, we consider the event of particular importance as it provides a platform for fresh perspectives and new voices in the finance world, playing host to a range of micro-keynote speakers who get to share their unique journeys in financial planning, bringing countless innovative ideas to the financial planning profession – which we can learn from for our clients.

Amy Williams MBE – a gold-medal-winning British Skeleton athlete, TV personality, and motivational speaker – was the keynote speaker for the day. Amy won Great Britain’s first gold medal in an individual event in 30 years at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010 and continues to inspire as a personal trainer, motivational speaker, and ambassador for British sport worldwide.

We also had our own speaker on the stage with Managing Partner, Moira O’Shaughnessy, taking part in two panels discussing financial life planning and investing for good.

A fantastic opportunity to support our team’s personal development – by attending, networking, and learning from the best in the industry – the team came back laden with invaluable insights and strategies to further enhance our services and expertise.
