Mike joined FPC in 2019, bringing extensive experience across investment management and financial planning. Before joining the firm, he spent several years at London Stock Exchange member firm Blankstone Sington, where he trained as a Dealer trading stocks, bonds, and collective investments, before progressing into a client-facing investment management role. There, he was responsible for managing discretionary and advisory portfolios for private clients, charities, and trusts.
As Head of Investment, Mike leads FPC’s investment proposition, ensuring clients benefit from robust research, disciplined strategy, and integrated planning. He is also a Senior Adviser looking after the planning needs of FPC clients and is a key part of the firm’s Senior Management Team.
Mike holds a BA (Hons) in International Management, the CII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS), and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (FCSI). In support of his wider interests in leadership and strategy, he has also completed a Master’s degree in Sport Directorship.
A busy family man, Mike is married with three children and two dogs. Outside of work, he is actively involved in basketball, having founded and led a successful Basketball England-affiliated club, and enjoys going to the gym, snowboarding, and travelling whenever possible.
