FPC has been shortlisted for the Merseyside Independent Business Awards in the Professional Services Business of the Year category.
Founded by Morecrofts Solicitors in 2013, the Merseyside Independent Business Awards were designed as a platform to celebrate the positive social and economic impact that our independent businesses, their owners and those who support them have on the city region.
The 57 shortlisted companies for this year’s awards include retailers, manufacturers, hospitality businesses, creative agencies, plus construction, pharmaceutical and arts organisations.
Alison Lobb, Managing Partner of Morecrofts Solicitors commented: “When we announced the return of the MIB awards this year, we knew it would be welcome news among the local business community, but the level of response has exceeded all expectations. The quality and quantity of entries has been incredible, and this is reflected in the calibre of firms that have made it to the shortlist. It really is the A to Z of outstanding local businesses.”
Bill Addy, Chief Executive of Headline Sponsor, Liverpool BID company comments: “We’re so proud of all the incredible entries this year at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards. This year we see some of the best quality ever and we see it being an especially tough job for the judges involved. Good Luck.”
This latest success follows hot on the heels of FPC being named Constituency Responsible Business Champion and being shortlisted as one of eight companies for a national award.
Managing Partner of FPC, Moira O’Shaughnessy comments: “We are delighted to have made it to the MIB awards shortlist, despite stiff competition it appears! FPC celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and we are proud to have retained our independence and private ownership throughout, and we remain committed to both going forward.”
The winners for each category, plus the overall winner will be announced at a ceremony at the Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool on Thursday 20th October. Too see the full list of finalists, visit the MIB website.
