Earlier this month, after five years as a category sponsor, FPC hosted a brunch event for Merseyside Women of the Year (MWOTY) finalists past and present at the Hope Street hotel in Liverpool where it announced it was stepping up to be the headline sponsor for 2023.
You can see some of the action here.
Through our charitable organisation, the FPC Foundation, we support numerous events, initiatives, and organisations across the Northwest – putting back into the community that has given us so much.
Antonia Roberts, one of our Financial Planners, explains: “There is still some way to go to achieve greater parity for women throughout all elements of society in the UK. The FPC Foundation endeavours to to support disadvantaged groups and recognise talent and achievement across the Northwest.
“MWOTY is an incredible organisation which seeks to recognise those women in our midst making a huge difference to the live of others, be that through the arts and culture to enrich lives, or businesses to create jobs.”
“As such, we are delighted to be the new main sponsor for this brilliant organisation.”
Ellie Kerr, MWOTY Founding Director, said: “Having worked alongside FPC for several years we know that they ‘get’ exactly what MWOTY is working to achieve.
“As a female-led business with local communities at its heart, its values align perfectly with those of MWOTY and I am excited to see what we can achieve together, both for our MWOTY 2023 finalists and women across the region more broadly.”
This year’s MWOTY awards will take place on Friday 30th June 2023 at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool City Centre.
The final deadline for nominations is Sunday 2nd April 2023. You can nominate online or via email. If you find it difficult to nominate in this way due to disability or other reason, please drop the organisers a line at:
