Created by National Museums Liverpool, the House of Memories dementia awareness programme is very close to our hearts, as many of our clients’ lives have been touched by the disease.

House of Memories is a museum-led dementia awareness programme which offers training, access to resources and museum based activities to enable carers to provide person-centred care for people living with dementia.

FPC is proud to have been involved with the programme since its launch in 2012. Our contributions to date have helped to fund various initiatives including memory suitcases, training days and support for more than 12,000 carers of people living with dementia across the North West.

Our recently sponsored Sense of Summer memory baskets enable carers and people living with dementia to enjoy sharing summer time memories together and to stimulate conversation about the past.

On behalf of National Museums Liverpool I would like to thank FPC for their ongoing support for the House of Memories dementia awareness programme.

With the kind support of FPC, and their wider client base, we have been able to enable more carers to access the House of Memories programme and resources. I look forward to a continuing partnership, and making a difference together.
