FPC works closely with the Community Foundations for Lancashire and Merseyside to help support local charities and grass root community groups. Ensuring charitable giving is where there is most need and where it will have greatest impact.

Part of a national network, Community Foundations help individuals and organisations to support their local communities. Since 1999 the Community Foundations for Lancashire and Merseyside has distributed in excess of £52 million to grassroots charities and community groups.

We are also proud to be a founding sponsor of the Lancashire Women’s Fund and the Merseyside Women’s Fund, managed by the Community Foundations, which addresses issues that undermine the quality of life and futures of women in our area. Together, with the Community Foundations for Lancashire and Merseyside, we can help women feel safe, empowered and confident when confronted by abuse, isolation, discrimination or a lack of opportunities and support.
