A Fond Farewell….and a Welcome Aboard
We said goodbye to Irene and welcomed two new team members, Hayley and Will into the FPC fold…
After 30 years of loyal service it was with a tear in our eye and much gratitude that we bade Irene Cheetham a fond farewell at Christmas as she embarked upon the next exciting chapter in her life – retirement!
Most of you will know Irene as the friendly voice on the phone who typically knew who you were before you had finished introducing yourself but she was also a highly experienced administrator whose dedication to FPC and the care of our clients was second to none. During her career at FPC she navigated countless changes in legislation, regulation and technology, adapting to change on an almost weekly basis. Always keen to maintain a low profile, Irene did not want any big announcements when she left but it goes without saying that she will be missed by all of the FPC team and we wish her all the very best for a long, healthy and happy retirement.
As you might expect, we had been planning for Irene’s retirement for some years as part of our overall succession planning and had already taken action to bolster our admin team over a year in advance. Our investment in FPC’s future continues and we are delighted to welcome two new support team members onboard.
Hayley Butler joined us before Christmas to support both our administration and planning teams and Will Carter joined our financial planning team in February.
Further recruitment is planned as we continue to expand our advisory and management capacity and we look forward to sharing those plans with you when we launch our new website which is coming soon…
