The COVID-19 virus is now clearly having an impact on all our lives, but as a business, FPC’s main focus is on delivering the highest level of client service and support, whilst also providing a safe environment for our colleagues.  We’d like to update you on some measures which we have implemented in order to ensure continuity of service to our clients and partners:

Contacting Us

Firstly, we would like to reassure you that we have robust plans in place to ensure that we remain open and fully operational throughout these difficult times so please continue to contact us on our usual number, ie. 01704 571777.  If your Adviser or Financial Planner is unavailable, you will be put through to another member of the team.

Working from Home

The FPC team will be adhering to the health guidelines advised by the Government.  Everybody has the capability to work from home so we are currently in the process of moving to that approach. This will not affect how you contact us but bear with us as we settle into the new routine and systems, as calls and emails may take a little longer than usual to be returned.

Out of Hours

Should you need to contact us out of hours, our answerphone may be turned on but we will be regularly monitoring messages.  In the event of an emergency, you can also contact FPC’s Partners, Moira O’Shaughnessy on 07808 611300 or Bernice Blundell on 07889 361967.

Alternatives to Meetings

In order to keep the risk to health as low as possible, we are offering video, screen sharing and conference call options as an alternative to face to face meetings until further notice.  We will liaise with you direct to make any necessary arrangements.

IT & Platform Providers’ Continuity Plans

We are in constant contact with our IT partners and all of our platform providers, a number of which are experiencing challenges as they too shift to remote working.  We would ask for patience as their turnaround times are likely to extend.

We’ll be keeping you updated with regular bulletins and newsletters over the coming weeks but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or concerns at all.  We appreciate that regular communication is essential at this time and we remain on call for you, if and when you need us.  In the meantime, the whole FPC team would like to wish you and your families good health.
